Support HCAR by Becoming a Member

While most of our program costs are covered by subsidies by the state of California through the Redwood Coast Regional Center, as a non-profit we also rely on donations as a resource to help with the costs that are not subsidized by regional center funding. If you are interested in helping to make an impact and help support the many programs offered and people served through HCAR, please consider becoming a member.

There are many reasons to become a member, but the ultimate gain is knowing that your donation goes to the people served and bolstering the services they receive. By signing up to be an HCAR member, you become a critical supporter of the oldest service provider for community members with disabilities in Humboldt County. Your generosity helps to provide equipment, supplies and representation for the many people served by HCAR. We honor our members with an exclusive annual event to celebrate the community we serve and the members who are our allies and friends.

Bay Center Day Services provide life skills to help consumers be successful and independent in their communities.

Canvas & Clay Gallery

CANVAS + CLAY provides an inclusive studio environment and gallery for artists of varying abilities to foster an authentic art practice and professional growth within an inviting art community.

Comprehensive Career Services

CCS sets employees up for success by assisting them in job development, interviewing skills and resume writing, cultivating positive workplace behavior and habits, as well as building upon and enhancing job skills and social skills.

Respite Services

Respite Services support family unity by providing temporary relief from the 24/7 responsibility of caring for a loved one with disabilities.

Summit Support Services

HCAR‘s Support Services assists consumers in reaching and maintaining their individual potential in all areas of their lives, their homes, and their communities.
